This is the same final battle that I had previously posted, but now every character has their own 1/64 equipment. Throughout OG EarthBound, players could get 6 rare equipment items with a 1/128 chance of finding them by defeating certain enemies. However, Mother 2 Deluxe 2.0 changes these items from 1/128 to 1/64 chance of getting the drop. This means you should not have as difficult of a time finding these items. The 6 items are as follows:

Ness:

Gutsy Bat- Same offense capability as Legendary Bat but increases Guts by 150. Found from Bionic Kraken in “The Place” right before Gyiyg’s lair.

Star Pendant- All protections of Sea Pendant in addition to paralysis, hypnosis, and brainshock protection (all 80%) with a little extra defense. Found from Major Psychic Psycho in Fire Spring

Paula:

Miracle Fry Pan- Offers slightly less offense and has a 25% chance to miss, but increases Guts by 100. Found by the Chomposaur in the Lost Underworld

Goddess Ribbon- Gives Paula a significant defense and luck boost. Found from Starman’s Ancestor either in Onett post-Magicant or “The Place.”

Jeff:

Broken Bazooka- Jeff can repair this item to be the Heavy Bazooka, capable of around 300 HP damage for each use. Found from Creepy Sphere in Lumine Hall

Poo:

Sword of Kings- Poo’s best weapon that increases his offense significantly and puts him on par with the other characters. Found from Super Starman in Stonehenge Base.

These items do not change the battle significantly, but can offer extra help especially the Gutsy Bat for increased SMAASH!! hits and the increased Guts stats from some of the items which can save characters from mortal damage. These items can also be useful for an extra event post credits...
