Analog NTC Temperature Sensor with LED Display | Schematic + PCB Design in Altium Designer
In this tutorial, I’ll design an analog temperature sensor circuit using a 10K NTC thermistor and LEDs to visually indicate temperature thresholds. The circuit uses no microcontroller – it’s a pure analog design with 2N4401 transistors and 1N4148 diodes for temperature-based LED triggering.
✅ What You’ll Learn:
Schematic Design: How the NTC thermistor controls transistor switching for temperature thresholds.
PCB Layout in Altium Designer 24.4.1: Component placement for thermal sensitivity and noise reduction.
Calibration: Adjust temperature thresholds using potentiometer (VR1 = 10K).
