Ever wondered what it feels like to stand 2,899 meters above sea level? In this video, we take you to the summit of Mount Kitanglad, the fourth-highest peak in the Philippines and a crown jewel of the Kitanglad Mountain Range Natural Park.
From the mossy forests and the sighting of the rare Philippine Eagle to the freezing temperatures at the summit (yes, it gets cold up there!), we’re showing you the raw beauty of Northern Mindanao's most famous skyline.
Elevation: 2,899+ MASL
Location: Bukidnon, Northern Mindanao
Difficulty: 6/9 (Major Hike)
Permits: Required! Mount Kitanglad is a Protected Area and a sacred ancestral domain. Always coordinate with the PAMB and local tribal elders for the ritual.
