It was commissioned in 1917 and was decommissioned in 1983.
In this video we take a very rare look inside White Bay Power Station as part of the 24th Biennale of Sydney.

A dedicated bus route (443) runs frequently from QVB to White Bay Power Station during the duration of the Biennale.
It’s a free event and is open 7 days until the event ends on 10th June 2024.
