Ingredients:
1 whole turkey (18-19lbs)
1 gallon brine
*brine:
1 gallon vegetable stock,
3-5 slices ginger,
1 cup salt,
1/2 cup brown sugar,
1 gallon ice cold water
Cavity seasoning:
1 apple (medium)
1 onion (small)
1/2 green bell pepper
1 cinnamon stick
2 sprigs of rosemary
*OIL BREAST & LEGS (EXPOSED AREAS)
BEFORE BAKING
**PREHEAT OVEN 500 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT
(260 DEGREES CELSIUS);BAKE 30 MINUTES
(BREAST SIDE UP); THEN FOIL BREAST AREA;
BAKE 2.5 HOURS
AT 350 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT
(176 DEGREES CELSIUS)
***LET IT REST FOR 15-30
MINUTES BEFORE CARVING

1 火雞 (18-19磅)
1 gallon 調味鹽水
*調味鹽水:
1加侖蔬菜清湯,
3-5 薑片,
1 杯食用鹽
1/2 杯黃糖
1 加侖冰水
火雞殼內調味:
1 個 萍果 (中)
1 個 洋蔥 (小)
1/2 個 青燈籠椒
1 支 肉桂棒
2 棵 迷迭香
*焗之前, 將火雞胸部&腿部搽上食用油
(露出來的都需要搽上油)
**預熱焗爐至華氏500度
(懾氏260度);焗30 分鐘
(胸部往上); 之後用錫紙蓋住火雞胸的位置;
華氏350度焗2.5 小時(懾氏176 度)
***焗好要等15-30分鐘才切片/件
