The Convolution Project is a project from Choir Alberta which exploits technology in the creation of a digital choral medium. A new commission for digital choir ("Reunion", by Jason Noble) was independently recorded by 83 singers from 54 auditioned and non-auditioned choirs across Alberta. Those individual recordings were then digitally processed, convolved, and combined. The resulting audio track has been paired with video; together, they create this unique digital performance.
The Convolution Project is made possible thanks to the support of the Rozsa Foundation and Halkier + Dutton Design. Choir Alberta recognizes the ongoing support of Alberta Foundation for the Arts, Edmonton Arts Council, City of Edmonton, and Alberta Lottery Fund.
