This is the Norfolk Southern Peavine Line, a leased railroad branch line. NS tried to make this an abandoned railroad spur. Short line railroad operation on ex mainline railroad saved due to Federal Railroad Administration and Huhtamaki intervention. The conductor riding the front platform on the ex Alaska Railroad GP49 is Charles " Irish ". It rained off and on all day. One minute it was pouring rain and the next the sun partially came out! You can see and hear my dog, Prince Black Fang and my son Red Gum the Dispatcher. CCET is owned by Frontier Rail and this lightly used rusty railroad track is also known as the Norfolk Southern Cincinnati Line.
