Noel Gallagher combined a WEM Dominator MkIII (3) with a Marshall Valvestate to get his iconic tone. Today we're gonna check out the predecessor, the WEM Dominator MkII. As I've understood it, Dominator MkII took over from MKI in 1966 and MkIII took over from MkII in 1969. The MkIII differs from MarkII mainly in that it has a solid state rectifier (tube for MkII) and Bass + Treble knobs (tone for MkII). This amp has the original killer Goodman Green label 12" speaker. I'm gonna play it with a 1975 Gibson Flying V today. Cheers!
