HOW TO CAST A FLY ON SPIN AND CONVENTIONAL GEAR
There are a lot of ways to do this, but this is by far my favorite. This is a concept from the playbook of our Ukrainian brothers - but unlike their purposely built jig head, I show you how to utilize a sinker, in this case, a ball sinker (but an egg sinker works well too) to create a weight that enables you to cast flies. The fly can be worked slow, or fast, on the bottom or on top.
