HOW TO - VERY EASY ONE MATERIAL JIG FLY SHRIMP
When I first arrived in the UAE, I was wondering where I could buy live shrimp - the struggle still exists today - although I did find a supply, they are farm raised and are pretty weak - they don't survive that long. So the alternative was to look for a way to get the right sized soft plastics or tie my own flies - this is one of the products of that journey.
This shrimp fly can be tied on a normal hook with some weights or without - if you want to fish this on a cheburashka head, then a weightless version would be good, on a flyrod, you can use dumbell eyes or bead chain eyes if fishing shallow water. I love this fly for its simplicity and effectiveness.
