Heat: COD4 Speedrun Tutorial

Описание: Run down to the first defensive position, firing immediately once you make it there and making sure to kill four people before Price’s dialogue of “Squad, Hold Your Ground” plays.

Look to the right while pulling out your sniper, and throw your grenades into the crowd that spawns downhill from you. You want to get at least three kills here.

The kills only start being counted after Gaz replies “Copy.”
Sniping them is probably fastest, maybe.

You now are on a timer of approximately 34.5 seconds from when Gaz says “copy” to when the explosives sequence begins. Ideal timing for when the explosives sequence begins is between 1:19-1:22.

While this all takes place go and set up a bunch of claymores all around the barbed wire, then run into a house where you will find an M240, an AK, and a G36C, to await the enemies to begin pouring up the hill. This house is on the same hill you ran up during Safehouse, where there was a red barrel and some dogs that came at you.

Watch a world record video for the claymore placements, they are reasonably precise, but consistent.

If everything went right, you will start hearing claymores ticking, a sign that enemies are dying. After no less than two kills the helicopters should be able to spawn in.

If done correctly you should see the helicopters spawn right after you hear the first claymore tick.

Killing more enemies here seems to lower the chances of your teammates running away earlier and getting in the way of your detonators.

Once you’re directed to, use the detonators. From left to right: 3, 4, 2, 1 or 1, 2, 3, 4, order doesn’t matter. Just be careful to watch for teammates running into the area of your detonators, especially the two on the left.

Once Mac’s dialogue begins, you should be beginning to run up the hill and towards the farm. Run into the barn, and grab the Javelin.

Take out the tanks in any order. You may choose to pick up an RPG and take out the leftmost tank to save about five seconds but it’s quite risky. Nevertheless once the last tank gets destroyed, get moving.

RUN. You need to get to a trigger at the very bottom of the hill near the landing zone to get the Sea Knight to spawn in ASAP. Enter the helicopter and wait for the mission to end.
