MS FS2K in HD : NYC Tour In Learjet

Описание: Video of FS2K running in HD mode. This time, it's time to fly that Learjet around the most dynamic city on Earth: NYC. The Learjet in FS2K has an awesome virtual cockpit view. This was actually a second recording as I accidentally crashed into a office complex near the Empire State Building in the first one. It's hard trying to get awesome skyline shots without worrying about crashing into something. It was also tricky to maintain a 250 feet altitude above the Hudson River for the Statue of Liberty FlyBy (well worth it though). No autopilot here! I will revist this grand city when I cover FS2002, FS2004, and FSX.

There are plenty of cities that I plan to cover in this HD series. Dallas will be covered when I do FS2002, while Hong Kong and Tokyo will be covered in either FS2004 or FSX.I've already flew Honk Kong earlier in FS2004, and that city is just stunning.

I've maintained a steady frame-rate throughout this scene.The FPS counter could be brought up with the [Shift]+[Z] key combination. For those curious about how I'm rapidly switching between the different camera angles in spot-plane view, it's the [Shift]+[Whatever Numpad] key combo.It works in cockpit and virtual cockpit views as well. Full throttle is the [F4] key.
