I hope those in Tulsa remember their umbrellas. This is FS2002 running on Windows 10. I experimented with FS2002 on VMware Player 16, but for the most part, I was largely dissatisfied with the performance. I'm foregoing the VM this time. While many games do ran faster compared to Player 12-15, FS2002 was largely a crapshoot. It was generally worse compared to those versions in my case. It might be a different case under other VMware installs depending on host hardware configuration. At the same time, the Microsoft games of this time are typically a lot more difficult to run in a VM compared to other titles.
Despite these issues, FS2002 ran very well on Windows 10. While not surprising from a hardware perspective, Windows 10 has maintained very good compatibility with many of these older games. FS2002 is running in the screen resolution of 1600 by 900 in 32-bit mode with all graphic settings maxed out. I can still have my thunderstorm!
