Dolphins and Seals! Taking a boat ride to Puffin Island on Seacoast Safaris Beaumaris. North Wales.

Описание: We were staying in llysfaen for the week and decided to book up a Puffin Island Safari boat ride with seacoast safaris.

We already knew we wouldn't see puffins, as they leave usually by the end of July. But, we were keen to do this anyway as we had never had a boat ride before.

Their were 3 of us, my husband, our daughter who is 12 and myself.
We parked up in the easily directed car park which is £4 for the whole day.

Cash only for parking.

We Walked over and collected our tickets from the Seacoast Safaris booth, the lady explained that we would need to head to the gates a little before our booked time.

When the time came we were lead into the boat. You can choose where you sit, we headed for the front of the boat, which can get wet at times.
The skipper went through the safety precautions and we started moving. He was very informative and very funny.
About 20 minutes in, we spotted some dolphins!
These dolphins stayed around the boat, swimming alongside and performing for the passengers! This was such an incredible sight, we had never seen dolphins before and this was just amazing.
They stayed with us for around 20 minutes, the skipper made sure to turn the boat in order for everyone to see.
Whilst watching these lovely animals the skipper was telling us all about them.
Then it was time to move on, we headed to the island, we were told the history of the area along the way.

Then we got to puffin island and we were amazed to see seals dotted around. We got close enough not to disturb them, but it was close enough to get some pictures. They all look very chilled!
We spotted many cormorants too.

Then it was time to head back.

This was great for the views of the lighthouse.
We also spotted the dolphins again in the distance.
The whole trip was around 1.5 hours and it really was amazing.
The skipper and the hand were friendly and funny and made the trip fantastic.
It was such a great experience and the memories of this will most definitely stay with my family and I forever.
