My husband and I decided on a day out we would head to Llangadog to see the Red Kites feeding.
We had a 2 hour drive but it was so worth it. I've been meaning to do this for so long.
It was easy to find with the post code, once you have parked you need to walk down the lane (by the house) and pass the caravan park.
There is an entrance on your right.
It was £6 entry for adults and £3 for children.
As my husband and I both had our cameras we were allowed to be in the outside area, where as you are able to be in your own viewing pod.
In summer, feeding time is 3pm, and you are advised to arrive an hour earlier.
We arrived around 2pm and we watched the Red Kites circling, waiting for feed time.
Be prepared that as soon as the food is put out, everything happens so fast! Sometimes its hard to know which bird to focus on!
I would estimate that there was around 70 Red Kites at least and a couple of Kestrels joined in too!
It was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend it.
Thanks for watching :-)
