Looking for easy and refreshing drinks for Iftar or hot weather? 🌙☀️
In this video, I’m sharing 4 delicious and simple drinks that are perfect for Iftar and summer days.
🥤 Drinks in this video:
• 🍓 Strawberry Sago Drink
Ingredients
• Sago (sabudana) – 3 tbsp
• Milk – 2 cups
• Strawberry – 6–8 (or ½ cup chopped)
• Sugar – 2–3 tbsp (adjust to taste)
• Condensed milk – 2 tbsp (optional)
•coconut jelly– optional
• Ice cubes – as needed
Preparation
1️⃣ Cook sago in water until it becomes transparent. Drain and rinse with cold water.
2️⃣ In a blender, add strawberries, water, sugar, and condensed milk. Blend until smooth.
3️⃣ Pour the strawberry milk mixture into a bowl or glass.
4️⃣ Add cooked sago and coconut jelly and strawberry pieces and milk
5️⃣ Add ice cubes, mix well, and serve chilled.
• 🍓🍌 Creamy Fruits Sago
🥣Sago – 1 cups
🥣Heavy / All-Purpose Cream – 250 ml
🥣Fresh / Evaporated Milk – 370 ml
🥣Condensed Milk – 300 ml
🥣Fruits
👩🍳 Method
🥣Boil water in a large pot.Add the sago and cook on medium flame, stirring often, until the pearls turn fully transparent.🥣Drain excess water and rinse once with cold water to stop further cooking.🥣Allow the cooked sago to cool completely.
🥣In a large mixing bowl, add Add the cooled sago , Fruits, heavy cream, fresh or evaporated milk, and condensed milk.
🥣Mix well until smooth and creamy. Adjust sweetness if needed.Fold carefully without mashing the fruits.
🥣Refrigerate for at least 1–2 hours for best taste.🥣Serve chilled and enjoy this rich, creamy fruit dessert 🍨
• 🥜 Dry Fruits Shake
🍀 Ingredients
🥣Dates – 4–5, pitted
🥣Figs – 3–4,
🥣Almonds – 8–10
🥣Cashews – 6–8
🥣Pistachios – 6–8
🥣Vanilla Ice Cream – 3 scoops
🥣Milk frozen – 1½ cups
🥣Sugar or honey – 1 tsp (optional,)
🍀 Preparation Steps
🥣Add dates, figs, and nuts to a blender.Pour in milk and add vanilla ice cream.🥣Blend on high until smooth and creamy.🥣Adjust milk for thickness preference.
• 🥭 Custard Mango Drink
Ingredients
• Milk – 2 cups
• Custard powder (vanilla) – 1 tbsp
• Sugar – 2–3 tbsp (adjust to taste)
• Mango – 1, cut into small cubes
• Cooked sago (sabudana) – 3–4 tbsp
• Soaked basil seeds (sabja seeds) – 1 tsp
• Mixed nuts (cashew, almond, pista) – 2 tbsp, chopped
• Ice cubes – as needed
Preparation
1️⃣ In a small bowl, mix custard powder with 3–4 tbsp milk and make a smooth mixture without lumps.
2️⃣ Heat 2 cups milk in a pan. When it becomes warm, add the custard mixture and sugar.
3️⃣ Cook on low flame while stirring continuously until the milk becomes slightly thick and creamy. Turn off the heat and let it cool completely.
4️⃣ Transfer the cooled custard milk to a blender, mango pieces and blend for a few seconds until smooth.
5️⃣ Pour the mixture into a serving bowl or glasses. Add
Cooked sago•Soaked basil seeds •Mango cubes•Chopped nuts•Ice cubes
6️⃣ Mix gently and serve chilled.
