Dometic CFX95DZW Fridge review by Real 4x4 Adventures

Описание: The CFX95DZW is a monster of a fridge. According to specs apparently just under 95L (94.5L). This is a dual zone fridge with I believe a 54L and 40.5L compartments. It can operate on 240V or 12/24V. The fridge comes with two leads, one for 240V and the other for 12/24V. If both are plugged in it will give preference to the 240V connection. The dual zone functionality allows you to choose between having both zones on or either zone separately on. Both zones can be set at the same or different temps. Having used a dual zone fridge I would struggle to purchase one which is not. The only trade off is dual zone fridges are generally quite large capacity fridges so take up a lot of space. Each zone has it's own light which turns on when you open the lid. This is really handy in the dark. The handles are quite strong I used them as a tie down point to fasten the fridge to our slide. There is an app which allows you to adjust the temp, turn a zone on or off as well as turning the whole fridge on or off. This is really handy if you forget to turn the fridge on or off and can do so from your tent or home without opening and getting into the car. The lids are are reversible and each compartment has it's own drainage plug. This one had the additional case which helps protect the fridge and has some thermal benefits. We found the fridge was not noisy in the car but wouldn't want to sleep right next to it. We used this fridge for 10 days whilst camping at K'gari (Fraser Island) and loved it. For our use we would probably look to get the slightly smaller 75L model. The 95L didn't fit into our slide properly and was too high when opening the lids. We hope you enjoy the review.
