SMG1 - Freezeflame 2 - End torch strategies

I was working on an IL of this level a while back, but got stuck when I wasn't sure what strategy to go for at the end. Now I have a more complete picture of the options.
Of the 3 fastest strategies, I personally find that "2 midair spins, land on torch" is the most doable. When I do it, I long jump forward-left from the corner, hold the stick left for a split second at the start of the long jump, then go back to holding forward-left. Then two quick spins with the stick left. It's crucial to stay high enough to get a clean landing on the torch. If you barely land on the torch, you'll get a slow running start on it and won't be able to long jump off before getting burned.
For any strategy where you land behind the right torch, note that you don't need a weird angle on your long jump to light the left torch. Just long jump straight left, then hold the stick down from the start of the long jump to your fireball toss. Don't do the long jump too close to the back wall, or you might bonk the side of the gate.

0:35 - 2 midair spins
0:50 - 1 midair spin
1:04 - 1 midair spin, then running spin
1:19 - 2 midair spins, land on torch

One detail I didn't accommodate in these tests: If you're doing a full game run, the Fire Flower here is likely to be the first one you get in the game. When you get a powerup for the first time, Mario/Luigi turns to face the camera. That means it's better to take the Fire Flower in the air, and take advantage of the camera-facing to fall backward. In these tests, though, I did a lower jump which just pops the bubble and takes the Fire Flower on the ground.
If you take the Fire Flower in the air, the strats which can do the initial long jump south of the corner ('1 midair spin' and '2 midair spins') would probably get a little slower relative to the other strats, maybe by 0.10s. This doesn't change the analysis much, I think, but it's worth mentioning.
Finally, one detail I missed in the input display: my Spin indicator doesn't seem to work with Fire Flower spins. Not ideal, but I guess it's obvious when the spins are happening anyway.
