In today’s video, we share the emotional story of an elder from Jatri village, District Sheikhupura (Pakistan). His late father, Dr. Faqir Muhammad, had a close childhood friend named Kripal Singh. During the Partition of Punjab in 1947, Kripal Singh migrated to Indian Punjab, leaving behind his ancestral home and childhood memories.

In 2010, when Kripal Singh visited Lahore on the death anniversary of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, he wrote an emotional letter to Dr. Faqir Muhammad, requesting him to show his ancestral village one last time and reunite him with their childhood friends. Sadly, when Dr. Faqir Muhammad went to Lahore to meet his old friend, Kripal Singh had already returned to India. Destiny never allowed them to meet again, and both friends soon passed away with this sorrow in their hearts.
