New Zealand's Great Walks are a huge tourist attraction. Raiden and I decided to walk the popular Kepler Track. But without hut bookings we took a different approach. We walked the 60km track over two days, and found a legal freedom camping spot on above the bushline for our night on trail. It was a pretty windy trip, but the views and wildlife made it worth it!
