Often described as one of the most picturesque villages in the world, Hallstatt is famous for its pastel houses, dramatic Alpine setting, and peaceful lakeside views. We spend the morning wandering through the village, walking along the waterfront, and taking in the incredible scenery that makes this part of Austria so special.

Later in the day, we drive to Admont Abbey to visit its breathtaking monastery library, one of the most stunning historic libraries in Europe. The Admont Abbey Library is known for its grand Baroque architecture, ceiling frescoes, and thousands of centuries-old books, and it’s often considered one of the most beautiful libraries in the world.

We finish the vlog in Gmunden, a charming town on the shores of Lake Traunsee, where we enjoy a relaxed walk along the waterfront with views of the surrounding mountains.
