Lu Bu / Ryo-Fu is the final boss for most of the characters in the game. He is an unlockable playable character.

===== ABOUT LU BU / RYO-FU =====
Based on the real-life historical character of the same name, he is a military general and warlord of the late Han Dynasty who is known for his many betrayals in the central plains areas of China.

In PS1 Dynasty Warriors he is an adept final boss, being tall and large in stature and having long ranged strikes with his weapon, the Ji / polearm. His movelist (along with his alternate skin/costume Nobunaga) is the smallest out of all the characters in the game, but he is still highly effective in battle.

===== ABOUT PS1 DYNASTY WARRIORS =====
This is basically the very first game of the Dynasty Warriors / Shin Sangoku Musou franchise, and is the only one in the series being a traditional weapons-based one-on-one versus fighting game. It is inspired by the historical novel, Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

If I were to loosely describe the general gameplay, I would call it "Virtua Fighter with weapons". The movement and flow of striking is somewhat "rigid" and "stiff", so if you're used to Soul Edge/Calibur and the later Tekkens, you will most likely find this a bit "restricting" if you know what I mean.

Overall it's a pretty good game that is nicely rounded off with many modes of play, FMV CGI sequences and a good soundtrack. Know the roots, Dynasty Warriors fans!
