📚Description: Tonight we are reviewing a new concept Les Paul developed at Gibson R+D. The prototype was released to the public after the 2026 NAMM Show. Whether we will ever see these produced or not is anyone's guess. I would love to see it slightly reimagined as a Custom Shop Les Paul Studio bridging the gap between Custom Shop Junior/Specials and the R8. Its body is superior to the current axcess custom in my opinon, but the look just isn't there without body binding. Perhaps this was scrapped for being too labor-intensive to produce.
