Flat feet? Foot pain? Plantar Fasciitis? Bunions? DO THIS. We often teach the short foot, but this awesome variation that @YogaTuneUp showed us is lovely. Everyone struggles with this a lot when they are new to it. So do not get frustrated if you do not get it at first. Just keep working on it.
These @TuneUpFitness balls are the best. We always offer low-cost alternatives, and a tennis ball might work, although it’s more slippery than these and when I tried it it didn’t work very well. You can work on stuff like this while you are at a stand-up desk, while folding laundry, etc. Stack some stuff like this into your life. Take a lot of phone calls for work? Stand up and do this while you chat on the phone. There are so many opportunities where you can sneak in some intentional movements! As always, when it comes to foot health, we recommend being barefoot and/or wearing barefoot shoes as often as possible!
