In this video we take a look train action at the Padelford St. crossing in Berkley, MA. This crossing is on the South Coast Rail Extension of the MBTA to Fall River and New Bedford, MA opened in 2025. This specific section of railroad has a rebuilt main track, restored second track, and a rebuilt siding all replaced/restored for this extension. We see a few commuter rail trains passing through on this October 2025 afternoon. We also get a shot of a northbound train at Somerset Junction in Fall River, MA.
