I took a quiet walk through Old Town Petaling Jaya, passing by familiar places and discovering a few new ones along the way.
I stopped by Assunta Hospital, where I shared some of my experiences, and Assunta Convent, where I talked about Sister Enda Ryan and her contributions, including writing the school song. Then, I visited the Sri Sithi Vinayagar Temple and was amazed by its beauty.
The PJ wet market was much bigger than I expected, with floors and corners I had never seen before. I also visited Pat Seong Wine Merchant, where I shared the story of how the business began, with the help of Gerald Templer. Finally, I walked through Section 1, the oldest part of PJ, where the first "three-feet brick houses" were built.
It was a peaceful and interesting walk, filled with small discoveries. Hope you enjoy it!
