Hi Loves, Happy Holidays!!
Today is a mini-ball core sculpt...it is a bit on the challenging side but I know y'all can handle it!! Let the comments be your space to communicate with me about any modifcation options, critiques, or anything at all ;))
My General Notes:
1. When you are lying supine, make sure to keep your spine imprinted on the mat.
2. Breath-work is everything in our practice. Whenever you lose it, remember to breathe in on the easier part of the movement and breathe out during the harder part of the movement
3. Pilates is a low impact workout...not in the sense that it's easy but that we are slowly moving through each exercise making sure to exhibit grace, control, and precise movements. We train with intention.
4. Modify as needed. Modifications mean to either simplify and exercise or make it more challenging.
5. Utilize mind-to-muscle connection. When you are performing each movement I want you to think about and visualize what muscles are being worked...imagine them being sculpted as you condense and contract your muscles. We are not moving mindlessly through these movements.
