In partnership with the Alberta Council for Global Cooperation (ACGC), we invite students to come together on March 9 to commemorate International Women’s Day through an engaging and interactive virtual session. Students will hear from an inspiring keynote speaker who will share stories and perspectives on the power of women and girls to create change. Beyond listening, learners will have the opportunity to connect with one another, share their own ideas, and inspire each other to take meaningful action in support of women and girls in their schools and communities. This session is designed to be a space for student voices, shared learning, and collective action, empowering young people to recognize their role in advancing gender equality locally and globally.
