Julian Cope published the Modern Antiquarian in 1998, lavish gazette featuring 300 neolithic and Bronze Age sites in the UK and includes a personal journey as he explores Britain's past. He published the book as a response to the lack of decent guides to the subject, this video is about my issue with putting these sites into context; I have been frustrated trying to work out their chronology so in this video I time travel.

the video is 4 main parts, the beginning of 'sacred' circles over 7,000 years ago in Europe, the dolmen and how they evolved across Europe, the social spaces that include henges and processional landscapes and finally the stone circle. Obviously it is not an absolute list and I'm not able to include even all my favourites.
