The Crew Wild Run - Mazda MX-5 Street Spec Customization + L.A Street Race (July Summit Reward)

Описание: The July Summit is over and platinum medal drivers are all rewarded with the Mazda MX-5 for The Crew Wild Run! The Mazda MX-5 is available for street and perf spec. When the MX-5 was rewarded 1st of August, there was a bug where you can't purchase any specs for the MX-5. It was fixed today.

This video showcase the Mazda MX-5 Street spec customization as well as demonstrating it's overall fully upgraded level 1299 performance in a Custom L.A Street Race (Freedrive Challenge) I've made during the Wild Run Beta against some friends. I am using keyboard with manual transmission and sports assists in this video.

Mazda MX-5 Street spec performance review:
So is 3 days worth the wait for the Street spec? If you saw my Perf spec review, it's disappointing compared to other cars. Can the MX-5 redeem itself in Street Spec?

Again the answer is no. It's not strong in Street spec unfortunately. Firstly, the street spec still has that horrible brakes. Like the Perf spec, if you drift the car at corner entry by braking late, it will have this drift understeer. While the car does not have wheelspin issues at corner exits, it does have too much wheelspin when using NOS. Engine acceleration wise, it's pretty weak and the NOS power is just average. In comparison with the BRZ, despite having wheelspin issues, it still accelerates fast due to it's high grip level.

Another thing you need to be aware with the MX-5 is it's ability to go over curbs. It's not that great, you will be bouncing around everytime you tackle a city corner with curbs. And lastly, cornering and turn radius wise, it's not the best. The R34, Mini and BRZ has better turn radius than the MX-5.

Like the RX-7 and Perf spec, it has the same crash cam bug where the slightest air you catch and if all 4 wheels aren't horizontal, you car will crash and reset.
