Summer in Tasmania would not be complete without a visit to Bridestowe Lavender Estate, which is in full bloom in December.
The picturesque fields of lavender, the humming of bees, and the scent of lavender truely makes this place beautiful.
As the estate has food grade lavender, you can even give it a try in the form of ice cream!
The gift shot has plenty of lavender scented items on its selfs, which are all made onsite!
Thats right, AUSTRALIAN MADE!
We even got a chance to meet Bobbie the lavender bear from Bridestowe Lavender Estate.
After all of this we went to Rupert and Hound in Launceston.
The food there was tasty, especially after a long walk around the estate!
I would recommend the mussels - and get the larger bowl!
