Bridestowe Lavender Estate near Launceston city is one of the largest and most historic lavender farms in the world. This farm is one of the most photographed landscapes in Tasmania, Australia.
There are over 650000 French Lavender plants on the extensive 120 acres of picturesque fields. The lavender at Bridestowe Lavender Estate normally in bloom from December through to January, with peak period usually covering mid-December to mid-January.
Tickets are $20.00 per person and free of charge for children aged 15 or under.
There are several free events throughout the day such as Tea tasting, History & distillery talk & walk, culinary lavender and distillery visit. You can check the timetable at the entrance. Don’t forget to try the signature lavender ice cream here too.
You can consider wearing pastel or light-coloured outfits that complement the lavender field. Soft pinks, blues, beige, white and greens can look especially lovely.
