Marta Cortegano, a Forest Engineer and one of the founders of Terra Sintrópica, is helping to face the climate and demographics challenges in the Mértola region. Born from a shared love for the region and the strong desire to take action, the idea of regenerative agriculture began to take root — and so did Terra Sintrópica.
Terra Sintrópica is part of the BIOTraCes case study Mértola future lab, which fosters innovative solutions for ecological and economically sustainable food production.
