In this video, we show you how to apply WEICON WR, a steel-filled, liquid epoxy resin system that is ideal for casting and gap filling. (https://www.weicon.de/en/weicon-wr-st...)
WEICON WR is especially recommended for areas where metal parts are subject to heavy wear caused by friction.
First, we thoroughly cleaned the ground surface and the casting mould with WEICON Cleaner Spray S (https://www.weicon.de/en/cleaner-spra..., then allowed the spray to evaporate until no residue remained.
In the next step, WEICON Mould Release Agent Liquid F 1000 was applied evenly. After that, we added the WEICON WR hardener to the resin that we had stirred beforehand. To ensure a homogeneous mixture, it is important to mix the resin and hardener thoroughly.
The resulting compound was then evenly poured into the mould and spread out.
Finally, the mould can be attached and tightened by hand until it is removed after curing.
