Bonding a rope sheave on a cable car | WEICON Flex 310 M® 2 K | WEICONLOCK® AN 306-03

Описание: In this video, we show you how we bond a sheave on a cable car due to signs of wear on the shaft. As always, the same rule applies here: clean before treatment. Here, we have pressed our WEICON Cleaner S over the keyway into the connection so that the gap between the shaft and hub is thoroughly cleaned. (https://www.weicon.de/en/cleaner-s-po...)
This process is repeated until no more dirt emerges from the sides. The gap between shaft and hub is then sealed with WEICON Flex 310 M® 2 K, except for one spot at the top edge. WEICON Flex 310 M 2 K is very adhesive, can be painted over ‘wet on wet’, can be sanded, is weather-resistant, UV-resistant and is free of silicone, isocyanate and solvents and is non-corrosive. The adhesive and sealant is a highly adhesive 2-component system on a hybrid polymer basis, with which full-surface bonding of larger parts is possible and with which bonding gaps of up to ten millimeters can be bridged.
The edge at the gap between shaft and pulley is cleaned in advance with WEICON Spray Cleaner S.
After WEICON Flex 310 M® 2 K has cured for at least one hour, WEICONLOCK AN 306-03 is pressed into the gap until it emerges at the vent. (https://www.weicon.de/en/weiconlock-a...) WEICONLOCK® AN 306-03 is used as a joining compound for bearings, shafts and bushes and is pressed into the gap using a Euro cartridge.
Finally, the exit point is cleaned with WEICONLOCK AN 306-03 and sealed with WEICON Flex 310 M® 2 K. To allow WEICONLOCK AN 306-03 to spread evenly, the joint is rotated several times. After 48 hours curing time, the system can be put back into operation.
