Other notes: For the first Wednesday of April, we decided to carpool Benicio to one of Hamilton's Thunderbolts that wasn't Tunnelbolt for once. We went to this one that's located at a catholic church on the south side of the city. What's really funny and ironic about this Thunderbolt is that it's also located directly across the street from the house with the street number 666, and because of that, this particular unit is commonly referred to by its given nickname: Satanbolt. We had heard from some other enthusiasts that this thing is ungodly loud (that's not the last time I'm gonna do that) so of course, we wanted to check it out for ourselves on one of these first Wednesdays. While we were on our way, it was pretty overcast with on and off rain showers, including when we first arrived here. However, around 5-10 minutes before the test, the rain stopped and the clouds partially cleared up, and the sun even came out! Once noon came around, this thing roared to life, and right off the bat, I could feel the ground shaking even from where I was set up, and it also put out some pretty cool sounding reverb. Then, after a few rotations, me and Connor walked up to the corner of the two church walls that's closest to the 'bolt. To say this thing was loud as hell would honestly be an understatement. At the time, this was the loudest 1000T the two of us had ever heard and the second loudest Thunderbolt in general, but that was recently dethroned by one or two spots. It easily still makes our top 5 however. After the test, about 10 minutes past noon, we could hear some 2001's winding up in attack, which at first left us a bit confused. Dominic eventually realized that those were most likely the units in the city of Fairfield since they were coming from the south, which confirms that they go seperate from the rest of the county, just like Middletown. We had already gotten our equipment packed up by then, so we didn't bother getting any videos of that ambiance. Enjoy!
