Woman Tells Young Thug 'I Want You' in Emotional Jail Call

After nearly a year at trial, Young Thug pleaded guilty to drug and gun-related charges. He also pleaded no contest to conspiracy and participating in a street gang. A judge sentenced him to 40 years in prison, but commuted the sentence to time served and 15 years of probation.
Many legal experts have weighed in on the charges against Young Thug and his co-defendants, calling the trial itself “outrageous” and the charges an “extreme overstretch in the judicial system.”

Young Thug's friend Leena Sayed broke down in tears, saying that she wanted him in an exclusive jail call. Sayed apologized to the rapper for an incident earlier in the call. Sayed told Young Thug she did not like anyone but him.

Young Thug faces nearly a dozen charges, including possession of drugs and weapons, participation in criminal street gang activity, and conspiracy to violate Georgia’s RICO Act. The rapper was arrested in May of 2022 along with 27 other alleged gang members. Many of those defendants have taken plea deals in the case.
