Young Thug Gives Heartfelt Speech Before Walking Out of YSL Trial

Описание: Young Thug, real name Jeffery Williams, took a non-negotiated plea deal on Thursday evening where he pleaded guilty and nolo to his charges. In his statement, Williams said, “I apologize to my family, my mom, I have a good heart.” Judge Whitaker later sentenced the rapper to 40 years to serve 5 years in prison, which is commuted followed by 15 years of probation and then backloaded by 20 years.

Young Thug faces nearly a dozen charges, including possession of drugs and weapons, participation in criminal street gang activity, and conspiracy to violate Georgia’s RICO Act. The rapper was arrested in May of 2022 along with 27 other alleged gang members. Many of those defendants have taken plea deals in the case.
