Two Verses in Sragdhara Meter: My Own Sanskrit Composition

Описание: आर्याणां वाक्पुराणां प्रभवति भवदा या गिरां प्राकृतानां
वर्षेऽस्मिन्भारतानां परमरतिकरा भोगकारी सुराणां ।
छन्दोभिर्वेदवादान्प्रकटयति पुरा शास्त्रिणां लौकिकानां
येषां श्रीः पूजितानां कविविभववहा तच्छचीं तां प्रपद्ये ॥
विप्राणां वग्विदां वै शिरिशरवचसां शास्त्रिभिश्शंसितानां
येषां वाचां सृकास्ते रिपुमरणभृतां पद्यतो हन्त मुक्ताः ।
हन्तुं रस्यप्रदिग्धानरिहसनधराञ्जल्पपूर्णान्विडम्बान्
तेषां गीर्गोदुहां हापरहरनवता चार्चसामङ्ग भूयात् ॥

āryāṇāṃ vāk purāṇāṃ prabhavati bhavadā yā girāṃ prākṛtānāṃ
varṣe ’smin bhāratānāṃ paramaratikarā bhogakārī surāṇāṃ /
chandobhir vedavādān prakaṭayati purā śāstriṇāṃ laukikānāṃ
yeṣāṃ śrīḥ pūjitānāṃ kavivibhavavahā tacchacīṃ tāṃ prapadye //
viprāṇāṃ vāgvidāṃ vai śiriśaravacasāṃ śāstribhiś śaṃsitānāṃ
yeṣāṃ vācāṃ sṛkās te ripumaraṇabhṛtāṃ padyato hanta muktāḥ /
hantuṃ rasyapradigdhān arihasanadharāñ jalpapūrṇān viḍambān
teṣāṃ gīrgoduhāṃ hāparaharanavatā cārcasāṃ aṅga bhūyāt //

I resort to that power of Speech of those ancient Aryans whose speech appears to give the origin to natural languages, and which in that country of Bharatas bestows to them the highest delight being at the same time great enjoyment for gods, which hitherto through poetic meters manifests utterances of Vedas to highly learned as well as to common people, which is majestic glory of those (Aryans) who are praised, and which brings to them their prophetic might!

Verily, let the novelty of praises, which removes all other (less important) things belong to those inspired sages who milk the cow of Speech, who are, indeed, skilled in rhetoric and whose words are like swords and arrows, who are celebrated by scholars, and whose spears of sayings which bring death to their enemies, are sent forth as poems in order to strike derisive invectives stained with blood, which bring the laughter of foes, and which are full of gossip!
