After a pleasant stay and exploration of Fiji it was time to return to Australia. We sailed to New Caledonia for a new French experience of several weeks. Then on via the Chesterfield Reefs, to clear in at Mackay, North Queensland.
Of interest is the number of bird species that were nesting and breeding on the Chesterfield Reef Islands (sand cays) in November, as shown in my photos.
Remember that photos are digitised from 50 year old 35mm slides.
