Описание: In the Genpei War that engulfed Japan during the 1180s, the Minamoto clan chased the Heike/Taira clan into the country's most remote regions. In Shikoku's Iya Valley, the Heike built vine bridges across the river so they could cut the connection if attacked. You can cross one of these bridges (among others in different locations) at Kazurabashi. But fear not, as the locals replace the vines every few years. A short walk from the bridge, you'll find the lovely Biwa Waterfall as well.
