One of the best festival I've ever experienced in Thailand, Loy Krathong in Chiang Mai. Also Everyone has seen the beautiful Lantern Festival (Yee Peng) celebrated in some provinces of Northern Thailand including Chiang Mai, but little know the fact that it is actually a Chinese festival. This night is the authentic way of celebrating the local Thai Festival of Loy Krathong. I started and watched some events happening at Three kings monument, Tha Pae Gate and ended up at Nawarat Bridge. Where i would float my Krathong that is made from banana leaves, Flowers, Incense and candles. Thanks to the locals who help me make my Loy krathong the best.
