PING RIVER
A day walking beside Ping River you will notice that the water sometimes isn't clear mostly during rainy season. Ping River is the largest river in Chiang Mai crossing the province from Myanmar. It's just a few blocks east of the old city and night market, where its banks have been developed with hotels, open-air restaurants, and bars. After passing Chiang Mai, it flows through the provinces of Lamphun, Tak, and Kamphaeng Phet. It meets with the Nan River at Nakhon Sawan and they form the Chao Phraya River. There's also a lot of activity you can do here like. River Cruise, Kayaking, Release your lantern during Loy Krathong Festival.

NAWARAT BRIDGE
Nawarat Bridge is the third bridge that was constructed at this location. The bridge connects the east and the west banks of the Ping River and is the most important bridge in Chiang Mai.

WAROROT MARKET
Warorot Market is a large outdoor market in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The market is the main supplier of local vegetables to the city's population. Warorot Market is the largest and most popular market in the area and it closes at 8pm. There are many wholesale dealers that supply commodities such as garments, dried fruits, meat and fish to other traders for sale in other markets around Thailand or abroad. Warorot Market has four separate buildings where there are shops selling food and clothes. This market is also known as the Kad Luang Market since it lies close to Wat Chedi Luang, Chiang Mai's most important temple and landmark. In Thailand, one of the popular tourist souvenirs is a T-shirt with an image of Chiang Mai's Buddha statues on the back. Warorot Market is the biggest fresh market in Chiang Mai so it's worth a visit for those interested in seeing the types of food on offer in Thailand. There are many vegetables and fruits here that you will not be able to find anywhere else in town but if you are after a specific Thai snack like khao khluk pak mo (ข้าวคลุกผักหมู), or the striped Thai eggplant then it will be best to go straight to this market.
It's a great place to buy souvenirs or get your shopping done while visiting Chiang Mai!
