Join us as we review the health benefits of pomegranate in detail. We discuss how they could be beneficial for physical activity, muscle strength, neural protection and slowing down cognitive decline. We talk about the anti-inflammatory effects of pomegranate, and we talk about the anti-cancer effects as well as the effects pomegranate has on metabolic syndrome manifestations like high blood pressure, central obesity, insulin resistance, high blood sugar levels, high cholesterol levels. We take some time to explore how pomegranate affects the Microbiome, and how a healthy microbiome type can allow us to maximize our benefits from pomegranates. Lastly, we talk about the different parts of the pomegranate, if possible, we really should try to get in the entire fruit, not just the central Arils. And FINALLY - we need more high quality studies done on pomegranate intake - we need to better define the best formulation, dose and frequency.
