This song, The Captain and the Bear, is based on characters in the Tellest universe, Catelyn Angmar and her first mate Basta. Both have their interesting secrets, but their romance was the most striking thing for me, and I loved bringing them to life across several different mediums now.
These lyrics were written in part by me, and the music was generated with the help of AI tools. This project is a blend of my own storytelling and the new possibilities that modern technology opens up. It creates something I hope feels both epic and deeply tied to the fantasy world of Tellest.
We're calling the fictional artist who works on this music Find the Way.
