Location: Moraga Avenue & Wicopee Place, Clairemont Mesa

Firefighters arrived to find a home with heavy smoke coming from several places in the attic.

Firefighters reported that it was difficult for them to enter several rooms of the house, the attic, and garage because of a hoarding like situation. They cut open the garage door, but found it was packed with items and could not enter.

The attic re-ignited several times, even after ventilation holes were cut with a chainsaw.

No one was injured in the fire. The cause is under investigation.

Remember folks, all suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
