GREEN VELVET CUPCAKES
Cupcake batter ingredients:
Butter 2-1/2 ounces
Caster sugar 6 ounces
Flour 5 ounces
Baking soda 1/2 tsp
Baking powder 1/2 tsp
Cocoa powder 1 tsp
Buttermilk 1/2 cup
Vinegar 1 tbsp
Green food color 1 tbsp
Corn flour 1 tbsp
Vanilla essence 1/2 tsp
For the cheese frosting:
Cream cheese 4 ounces
Icing sugar 2 tbsp
Whipped cream 4 ounces
Method:
Mix the ingredients of the batter and put them in the mold and make cupcakes. Mix the baking powder and baking soda in the vinegar to make the buttermilk. Finally, mix the ingredients of the frosting and make the frosting and serve after cooling.
SUBZ CHICKEN
Ingredients
Boneless chicken cubes 500 gm
Oil ¼ cup
Yogurt ¼ cup
Cream ¼ cup
Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
Salt ¾ tsp
Black pepper ½ tsp
White pepper ½ tsp
Red chili powder ½ tsp
Cumin powder 1 tsp
For The Green Sauce:
Green chillies 2-3
Coriander chopped ⅓ cup
Mint leaves 10-15
Lemon juice 2 tbsp
Yogurt ¼ cup
Method:
Blend all the green sauce ingredients till smooth.
Pour this sauce into the chicken and also add rest of the ingredients except oil. Mix well and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Heat the oil in a pan and add the chicken. On medium high heat fry for 5 min then lower the heat to medium low, cover and let the chicken cook completely. When the chicken is cooked, increase the heat and dry any remaining liquid. Cover again and leave the chicken curry on low heat for 5-8 min. The oil will separate from the sauce.
Garnish with fresh chopped coriander.
