AP Shave Co. 24mm SynBad

Описание: ​A brief divergence from the badger exploration from a noobs perspective today in order to review the latest knot from AP Shave Co (https://www.apshaveco.com/), the SynBad. As many of you know, AP Shave Co. is the originator of the game changing, Tuxedo synthetic knot. AP Shave Co. offers a variety of knots including their newest offering, the SynBad. This knot aims to look the closest to a badger knot while providing a splay that is easier than the Tuxedo, which some user feels is too stiff to splay easily.

This knot has a similar shape to the AP Shave Co. Cashmere or their Faux Horse knot. The synthetic fibers are very densely packed which is now common across all quality synthetic knots. The tips are extremely soft, as soft as the Cashmere knot, which in my opinion has the softest tips of any synthetic knot. The backbone is firm, firmer than a Cashmere, but slightly less firm than a Tuxedo knot. Because of the great backbone and nice splay, this 24mm knot offers a very wide coverage area.

I am impressed with the feeling of this synthetic knot and see this as a nice alternative to the Tuxedo, which is my personal preference in terms of synthetic knots. It also offers a nice look and variety, which many hobbyists enjoy.
