1. Thumb IP Extension with Rubberband
a. Extensor Pollicis Longus Muscle
b. Loop band around hand and just above base of IP joint of Thumb and slowly extend Thumb
2. Thumb MCPJ Extension with Rubberband
a. Extensor Pollicis Brevis
b. Extensor Pollicis Longus
c. Loop the Rubberband just below the base of the IP joint of Thumb which will help target the MCP joint of Thumb
3. Resisted Thumb Flexion with Ball
a. Strengthens Flexor Pollicis Brevis, Flexor Pollicis Longus
b. Place the Ball between palm of the hand and tip of the thumb
c. Slowly press Thumb towards Palm of the hand, then relax, perform about a 50-75% maximum contract squeeze
4. Thumb IP Flexion Strengthening
a. Strengthens Flexor Pollicis Longus
b. Place ball just below base of Thumb IP joint
c. Slowly press Tip of Thumb into Ball and relax, about a 50-75% max contract squeeze
