In terms of Chicago fashion, Archer Townsend is one the newer kids on the block. As a collaborative effort between stylist, James Townsend, and his longtime client, Brandi Archer, Archer Townsend is seeking to change how we view casualwear. They focus on creating clothes with a sense of coolness, all while utilizing luxurious fabrics sourced right here in the U.S. James is the yen to Brandi's yang, and their distinct personalities creates the perfect balance of style and sensibility.

The design duo sits down with our guest correspondent, Kari of Chicagoings.com, to school us on the importance of keeping the entire design process in Chicago, the void they plan to fill in the fashion industry and who they would love to see rocking Archer Townsend.
